the interview

Ariane and I were introduced by a friend who thought she’d love the concept of Epiphany and maybe could help as I developed it, so we met up in New York. We clicked immediately, and from the moment she heard about this project, she has been instrumental in encouraging and helping me move it forward and has become a dear friend. A few months after we met, after having brunch and getting caught in a summer rainstorm, she officially shared her stories with me in her beautiful Soho apartment. We both found ourselves particularly moved when she was talking about her “epiphany of surrender.” Her epiphanies were very valuable to me when I heard them because of what was going on in my life at the time, and I still turn to them often.
